One of the APERA EXCO’s first actions was the VIO matter: protecting members’ drivers and vehicles from harassment, delays and disruptions on the road. Talks are ongoing with the FRSC and AMAC, and the first step is the VIO Driver Certification Card (DCC), soon to become a mandatory requirement in Abuja.

Batch 1 of the APERA VIO training has been completed and Batch 2 has held. “APERA is cleaning her house. APERA is raising standards.”

Members who still need their drivers certified should contact the APERA Secretariat.
